Stewart McLean BDS qualified from the University of Dundee in 1990 and has worked in the practice since then.
Stewart has a variety of interests within dentistry including advanced restorative dentistry, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, provision of dentures, acupuncture and children's dentistry.
He also works part-time as a dental adviser for NHS Education for Scotland, which involves organising a professional development programme for dentists in their first year of qualification.
Claire Williams BDS
qualified from the University of Dundee in 1992 and has worked at BDC since 1995.
Claire is interested in all aspects of Dentistry in particular children's and cosmetic procedures. She is also involved with the training of the newly qualified Dentists who spend a year in our practice.
In 2010 Claire trained extensively in the administering of dermal fillers and botulinium toxin (botox) for wrinkle smoothing and reduction as well as other facial aesthetic treatments.
2011 saw Claire complete her second Iron Man triathlon competition in Frankfurt with a time of 12hrs 22min!! In her spare time she continues to train and is looking forward to the 2012 season.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING
Our team is highly focussed, efficient and friendly. BDC is a recognised Vocational Training practice which means that we are approved to provide post graduate training. To be a training practice involves meeting specific criteria. These include, using all the latest materials and techniques, adhering strictly to current infection control guidelines and ensuring all our staff receive regular training to improve their skills and knowledge. We receive regular inspections to ensure that we consistently maintain our high standards.
